For three days in November, the second annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off was the hottest ticket in town. From Dante Jackson’s buzzer-beater from beyond halfcourt (a SportsCenter Top 10 play, by the way) to Puerto Rico native A.D. Vassallo shooting the lights out early, to Seton Hall playing to its fans in the third place game … this growing event featured a nice mix of blowouts, nail-biters—and upsets (ask USC’s Tim Floyd). In the end, however, it Sean Miller’s Musketeers outlasted John Calipari’s Tigers, 63-58.

Championship: Memphis vs. Xavier
On the bus ride to the gym, Coach Cal looked extremely relaxed. (Maybe too relaxed.) His players hardly played that way, but lost a hard-fought slugfest to Xavier.
